I’m a little late coming into this blogging world, but there were some things I’ve been wanting to share, so here I am!
I’m happy you’re here! My name is Raquel. I was born in Rio de Janeiro, grew up in Connecticut and currently live in Tokyo. I’m married to the love of my life, Sergio and we have two beautiful teenagers, Nicolas and Natalia who brighten our lives every single day.
With over 12 years of experience as a nurse practitioner, I’ve always been passionate about educating my patients on the pivotal role of nutrition in health. I firmly believe that a wholesome diet is irreplaceable, and that’s where my recipes come into play. In my culinary creations, fruits and vegetables take center stage. Cooking, for me, is about feeling great, nourishing my body, and maintaining a healthy weight. My dishes are all about genuine, health-conscious eating – they’re delicious, good for you, and satisfying in every way.
We live in Tokyo as missionaries and it’s a journey filled with both purpose and passion. We wholeheartedly embrace the opportunity to spread a message of hope and love to a world that often yearns for these sentiments.
